# Overview

The Hatch Apps API Builder enables members to build a back end, REST API, and database without coding. The API Builder can be used with or without an app built with our Mobile App Builder.

Everything is customizable: API name, endpoints, objects, data schema, permissions, and more.

Deployments happen with one click. After release, members can track data via API call or with a database viewer. All changes to the API configuration deploy instantly.
